"
vuelta" consists of photographs taken in 1974 til 1996 where i visited Spain the last time. 1974 till 1992 is a very significant period in the history of Spain ..it is the transition from dictatorship and backwardness to democracy and modernity. My father lived in Spain in the same period and i went there to visit him and accidentally experienced this period. Most of the colour-photographs was taken in Deleitosa a small village in Extramadura known to the photographic world as the place where W.Eugene Smith did the famed photo-essay "Spanish Village".
"9 X 13" the foundation for this exhibit was created in 1983 and continued up till 1986 where the photographs was exhibited with poems by Stig Dalager. The portraits is mostly my friends, family and past and present gorlfriends.
"petrusjka" was made during the recording of the ballet Petrusjka with Ballet Lyon. There was a scene where the whole company was dressed in red dresses and blond wick.
"revolution" was made during the revolution in Prague in the beginning of 1990 ..everyone was watching the television because that was where things happened. The streets was fairly empty.
"raindance" is a work in progress consisting of a series of short-prose pieces, photographes from my year in Venezuela and images from allmost my entire image-making carreer. It is a highly personal project inspired by Roland Barthes " Discours lámour" in danish "Kærlighedens forrykte tale"
"portrait", "music" and the rest of the links refers mainly to my proffessional and commercial work. Please view my C.V. and keep and eye on the "courses" link. I still plan to start a school in Venezuela designed to combine the photographic workshop or musical workshop with the intensive learning of spanish in a purely spanish-speaking enviroment. FramingWorlds.org is also an idea for a portal and web-hotel for photographers and interested only. This is a simple and straightforward idea.
